Amazing Benefits of Using Clove and Bay Leaf on Hair

Recently I observed that my hairline is really shedding while the other parts of my hair are growing amazingly. I went on research to find out what I am doing wrong. From my findings, wearing a tight bonnet can place a pressure on the frontline thereby causing shedding. Also I try to grap the front hair while making protective style which is very wrong.

What to do to regrow your hairline

One of the youtubers I watched her video suggest using ginger, flaxseed, onions.

The use of ginger raised a lot of argument, some people commented that ginger is harsh to the hair. I for one have not used raw ginger on my hair, although I do eat it raw and having known how spice it is, I have no doubt of it being harsh on the hair. My own take is, it could be that other hair products those using ginger incorporate into their hair regimen is overshowing the side effect of ginger hence, they can't really notice it.

According to byrdie.com, Penny James, a trichologist based in Newyork City references a study  from the National Library of Medicine that discourages the use of ginger for hair growth. The study shows that 6-Gingerol inhibits hair shaft growth. According to researches 6-Gingerol is  phenol phytochemical compound found in fresh ginger.

Due to this discovery, I was skeptical using the said ginger and was comfortable to use the below listed items. Moreso, with ginger you have to wash your hair after applying, but this combo is leave-in, and I can apply it upto 4 times in a week, so that makes the difference.

Clove

Bay leave

Coffee

These 3 combo, is what I am using now not only for my hairline, but time to time I apply it on my scalp and hair shaft and the result has been amazing.

Here are the benefit of clove on hair

Benefits of bay leaf on hair

  • Due to antioxidants present in bay leaf, it can be used as natural conditioner. It helps to smoothen the hair and makes it shinny.
  • It helps to strengthen the hair follicle and reduce the itchiness of the scalp
  • It boost hair growth and makes it grow strong and thick.
Coffee from my experience, softens the hair and so incorporating it into the combo will balance the effect of clove/bay leaf. It makes the hair not to be too strong nor too soft.

How to prepare clove, bay leaf and coffee combo

  • Add 1 table spoon of clove to a sauce pan
  • Add 4 bay leaves (if the leaves are big size, for smaller size add 8 pieces)
  • Add 2 tea cups of water
  • Leave it to boil for until the water change to tea like color
  • Bring down from the cooker and add 2 tea spoon of coffee cover it and allow to cool
  • Strain and apply as leave-in conditioner. Remember to apply any oil of your choice on your hair after applying the combo

Try this amazing hair growth solution and you will be impressed with the result.
