I used to have a very long, shinny and silky hair. Everyone that
sees my hair will instantly fall I love with the hair. I have had situations
where people argue whether it’s my natural hair or extension until they have to
come close touch the scalp before they believe that it’s really not
extension. Then I usually dye my hair and it is most time difficult
to differentiate my hair from attachment when I braid my hair.
See below picture of when my hair was still booming. (Apologies
for the quality of the pic)

When my hair was healthy |
Due to this fact, when I braid and the hair is due for me to
loose, I like losing it myself to avoid someone cutting my hair thinking its
attachment. And most times I rock my hair for months.
I was enjoying this fame of being in the category of people that
have long hair until a certain time when my regular relaxer I have been using
for long became scarce and I changed to another brand of relaxer. At first I didn’t notice the effect but
when it became obvious that my hair is no longer healthy and attractive again,
I started searching for solution. It was at this point that I stumbled on the
post of one of Nigeria’s hair blogger and took that decision and say
bye to hair relaxer.
I started transitioning to natural few months ago and while upload the picture when I am satisfied the progress.
We did like to hear from you, at what point did you decide to
go natural?

It was Chinwe Juliet, One of Nigeria's hair blogger that inspired me. The moment I stumbled on her picture I decided to embark on the journey to natural hair.
Who inspired you to embark on the journey?
I am open to suggestions and critics. Feel free to criticize this post so that I know the areas I did need to work on.
